SwapDoc ("we", "us", "the service") provides a free online tool to convert documents between Word and PDF formats. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the service, how it is handled, and the choices available to you. By using SwapDoc you agree to the practices described here.
Files you upload
When you convert a document, the file is uploaded to our server, converted, and returned to you for download. Files are deleted immediately after the conversion and download are complete, and a background process removes any residual files shortly afterwards. We do not read, copy, retain, share, or analyse the contents of your documents, and we do not keep them after your download finishes.
Information we collect
SwapDoc does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or other personal details to use the converter. Our server may process limited technical information as a normal part of operating a website, such as your IP address (used to apply fair-use rate limits that prevent abuse) and basic request data. This information is used only to operate, secure, and maintain the service.
Cookies and advertising
SwapDoc displays advertising provided by Google AdSense to keep the service free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

This site is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which may process technical request data on our behalf as part of providing hosting. Advertising is provided by Google as described above. We do not sell your information to anyone.

SwapDoc is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
